Routine Pet Health

PE (Physical Exam)

  • Includes lung and heart auscultation, external reproductive organ examination, oral examination, skin/coat evaluation, eye and ear evaluation.
  • Further diagnostic work may be recommended if any abnormalities are found and will be discussed with the owner.

Lab services

  • Limited lab services are available. If we feel like it is outside of our scope of practice, we will gladly refer you to a specialist or another veterinarian.
  • Fecal Testing – Will be available for in-house testing soon! This will allow us to have a faster turn around time for results, currently we send samples to the Animal Health Lab in Guelph.
  • Blood Work – Basic bloodwork will be available for in house testing soon! Otherwise, we can send samples in to the Animal Health Lab in Guelph for further testing.
  • Heart Worm Testing – It is recommended to have your pet tested annually for Heartworm prior to starting preventative treatment in the Spring. This will also be a service we will be providing in house soon!

Parasite Control

  • There are multiple options available for both internal and external parasite control for your animals. Our team would be happy to discuss your needs!

Vaccinations

  • We provide a couple of different options for vaccinations depending on your pets needs. Please see our Canine Vaccination page for more information.
